I’m Kristi Tanaka, owner, founder and creator of Kristi’s Couture Confections - my licensed home bakery in Anaheim Hills, California.
I have loved baking and being in the kitchen my whole life. I’ve learned countless valuable tips and amazing recipes from my mom and Oma- both geniuses in the kitchen! My cookie business launched in August 2020 out of my love to be creative and a necessity to help provide for my family. After having to leave my beloved job as a horticulturist working at “the happiest place on earth”, I found my true happy place in my own kitchen with a whisk in my hand!
I am married to an award-winning chef, Andy Tanaka. He is the most patient, hard-working and humble man I have ever known. He helps me figure out a lot of the inventory and spreadsheets that running this business requires and he’s a huge support to me pursuing this dream!
I have three children, Gabe, Jakob, and Kayli- all huge fans of my cookie business and excellent taste-testers!
My passion for creating luxurious treats for all of life’s occasions brings so much fulfillment to my life! Every order is valuable and meaningful to me and I thank you for allowing me to be the cookier who helps celebrate these special moments in your lives.
